Description

Presented is an exceptional pair of baseballs signed by the respective members of 1958 All-Star Game in Baltimore. The American League team signed a beautiful OAL Harridge Ball with care and each of the (22) signatures are very crisp, grading at least “7-8”. The marquee signatures on the baseball are Mickey Mantle, Casey Stengel, Elston Howard, Jackie Jensen and Harvey Kuenn – absent, however, is Ted Williams. The American League ball’s condition is strong, grading “9” and comes with an original Reach Baseball box (missing the bottom).

Nearly the entire National League All-Star team autographed a Wilson Official ball, scripting (28) clear signatures on the cream-colored sphere, grade ("8-9”). The star-laden autographs are headlined by Willie Mays “7”, Stan Musial “8”, Ernie Banks “9”, Dick “Turk” Farrell (d.1977) “7” and manager Fred Haney (d.1977) “9”.
A splendid duo of All-Star and Hall of Fame talent in this fantastic lot, overall condition on the baseballs are “8-9” while the signatures grade strong “8-9”. A complete listing of all the signatures on the ball is available on our website. COA from James Spence Authentications.
