Description

Presented is the elusive 1961 Redskins (black face/ square base) bobbing head doll with “NFL” embossed/stenciled on the maroon base. Cracks and chips are common among these papier mache dolls, as this one seemed to have fallen over and snapped the neck and head off the doll, but has been carefully repaired to remain visually dominant. Though a couple small pieces are missing from the upper back and left shoulder area, there are no other visible chips on head, helmet, body and base. An absolute terrific doll for the value conscious collector in pursuit of the RARE black face nodders.
