Graded NM-MT 8 (oc) by PSA. Volumes have been penned on the tragic baseball figure that is "Shoeless Joe" Jackson, an illiterate farm boy from rural Pickens County, South Carolina that rose through the ranks to become the idol of young boys across the country only to fall from grace. Although his actual participation in the "Black Sox Scandel" is cloudy, his baseball career ended after the 1920 season but Jackson has remained dear to the fans of the game for his excellence on the field and his cards are very popular among collectors. The beautifully classic design features a black and white picture of Joe Jackson, slightly askew, with a virtually flawless back and truly amazing eye appeal. As the key card and scare "high number" from this extremely popular set, the opportunity to obtain a NM-MT Joe Jackson is a paramount objective of all collectors.
