Offered is a 1952 Red Man baseball complete set of fifty-two without tabs. This was the first national set of tobacco cards produced since the golden days of tobacco sets in the early part of the century and has maintained the stature of being the most desirable of the Red Man sets. The key cards in this set are #1A Stengel (VG-EX), 3A Berra (VG-EX+), 5A DiMaggio (VG-EX+), 6A Doby (VG-EX), 8A Feller (VG-EX), 9A Fox (VG), 12A Kell (VG+), 14A McDougald (VG-EX), 15A Minoso (VG+), 23A Williams (VG+), 24A Wynn (VG-EX), 1N Durocher (VG-EX), 2N Ashburn (VG-EX), 9N Irvin (VG), 12N Kiner (VG-EX), 15N Mays (VG+), 16N Musial (VG-EX), 17N Reese (VG), 18N Roberts (VG-EX+), 19N Schoendienst (P-F), 20N Slaughter (P-F), 21N Snider (VG-EX+) and 22N Spahn (VG-EX). While 25% of this set has retained back damage due to being neatly pasted in an album at one time or another. The balance of this set is VG-EX with some better and some lesser. Note all grades have been given with the exclusion of the staining on the reverses.
