By the 1950s, Jackie Robinson had made in indelible mark on the game and the country alike. His stellar play and courage was a beacon of light for millions of Americas and this 2 5/8” x 2 5/8” dime bank is just one of the many products that bestowed the image of the great player upon them. A likeness of Roby adorns the front of the tin bank accompanied by “Save and Win with Jackie Robinson, Daily Dime Register Bank.” Two of the four sides have baseball-oriented graphics while a third posts a Robinson facsimile signature. The bank is in NM condition scant marks in the beautiful bright yellow casing. Sized to fit in a child’s pocket and save a few dollars in dimes, the item is now empty and ready to be cherished on a whole new level.
