Description

Argued by virtually any historical football expert, the 1958 Championship Game was the "Greatest Game Ever Played". The Johnny Unitas, Lenny Moore and Alan Ameche led Baltimore Colts defeated Frank Gifford, Charlie Connerly, Pat Summerall and the New York Giants 23-17 in overtime. Offered is one of the most sought-after press pins in the football collecting world. The stunning 1" x 5/8" blue and white enamel pin with a gold screw-post back has survived impeccably well with no scratches or other visible flaws. There is no manufacturers' name but the number 141 is engraved on the back of the attaching nut. Who knows how long it will be before another one of these little gems surface?
