Presented is a 34 ¾”, 34oz Hillerich & Bradsby R43 game used bat of Cincinnati’s “Big Red Machine” of the 1970’s Tony Perez. This white ash Louisville Slugger is uncracked and exhibits light game use. The bat features all the original manufacturers’ stampings that indicates it was used during the 1977-1979 timeframe. In 1967, he notched the first of seven 100-RBI campaigns over 23 major league seasons. It does not appear that any one of Perez’s 2732 hits were smacked with this stick, however, pine tar residue and bat rack marks are visible along the barrel. Signed boldly in purple sharpie between the Louisville badge and the name stamp, rates a solid (“9”). Comes with COA from James Spence Authentication.
